History

Bradley Woods & Co. Ltd. was formed in 1970 as a boutique research firm offering distinctive, independent research focused on the impact of U.S. Federal Government actions on the capital markets. The firm’s founders, drawing on talent developed in the research department of Mitchell Hutchins (now UBS Securities) and at Oppenheimer & Co. (now CIBC World Markets), joined forces with Washington, D.C. insiders to create a unique political research product. Leveraging knowledge of the mechanics and dynamics of government, the firm’s goal has been and still is to digest the inner workings of the U.S. Federal Government’s activities and to interpret them in terms of their impact on equity and fixed income securities in the U.S.
